This extraordinary portrait captures the complexity of Powerful Vulnerability, the tension that connects restraint and freedom. Algal Bloom Impact | Karen Waller | $400 | Digital Photograph

The natural world is often perceived as a consistent source of beauty; however, recent events in South Australia highlight its vulnerability. A toxic algal bloom is currently causing devastation to the marine environment and related ecosystems. The discovery of a deceased bronze whaler shark on Yorke Peninsula underscores the impact.

Enchanted Beauty | Robyn Barron | $395 | Digital photograph taken in studio with Tungsten lights on my iPhone.

From my series ‘The Secret Garden’ this image of a Paeony explores the hidden spaces – both physical and emotional – that we retreat to in order to rediscover ourselves. Inspired by the symbolism of overgrown gardens and forgotten corners, this work becomes a metaphor for inner growth, healing and the wild beauty of what lies beneath the surface.

The Last Dance | Kaye Forster | $2200 | I used 60-year old Ilford photographic paper, and a vintage exposure process.

The Last Dance
This vintage photograph is a visual meditation – poem in motion – inviting the viewer to witness nature as a living, breathing, ethereal presence. It is a dance of elements and time, of memory and what was, and of the quiet beauty that still remains!

No 11

Reclamation | Libby Tozer | $400 | Digital images or three women standing in the ocean, supporting each other.

This work looks to shift perceptions, to push back against the relentless marketing that glorifies youth by dismissing the untamed beauty that unravels across our skin with each passing season. It’s an invitation to reclaim our bodies and stories. It’s a deep honouring of those who came before, of collective wisdom, connection & shared hopes.

No 12

Past Perfect | Lianne Manley | $485 | Digital still life

Aging is a natural part of life, and just like flowers, humans also go through this process. Appreciating the beauty in aging, in both flowers and ourselves, is important as it reflects the passage of time and the experiences that have shaped us.

Invitation VI | Masa Hoss | $500 | Digital Photograh (In Camara Movement with minimal post processing)

This work uses in-camera techniques to create abstraction and colour fields, expressing beauty as a feeling rather than a form. The Satsop Nuclear Power Plant, were two of five planned nuclear power plants by the Washington Public Power Supply System to meet projected electricity demand in the Pacific Northwest. She faded perfectly | Aurelie Beeston | $500 | B&W papers, beauty products & negative. Sun exposed, scanned, digitally layered.

How should we see women as we age? We are sold beauty routines that damage our mental health. I applied beauty products on photo paper to reflect on this erasure of self. The original image is unfixed. It’ll slowly fade as it is exposed to light, just as older women are erased from representation. Let’s change this & celebrate the beauty of aging.

No 18

Coolum Surfer | Raoul Slater | $500 | Digital Capture

I was photographing from the bluff at Coolum on a rainy morning. The sun broke out for a moment, and the light was insane. The risk always is that you get up early, drive an hour to the beach, fight for a park, the waves are right and the light perfect, and then no-one catches a wave.

No 22

Created in Beaumaris, where Clarice Beckett once painted. Her paintings were long overlooked but are now celebrated as important. This piece honours those whose visions of beauty remain unrecognised. The Squid – Nicola Petrides – captures of the wild dance of human emotion and the magic of connection.
