20 | Maverick | Vicki Sullivan | $5000 | oil on linen

Maverick is a tribute to a woman I painted many times and admired for her spirit, individuality and beauty. She never saw this particular painting, but she loved being painted and always danced to her own tune. Now that she is no longer with us, I wanted to honour her memory and celebrate the beauty of a life lived authentically.
