Beauty is not always found in moments of joy. Drawing on the Persian epic Shahnameh, Sohrab and Tahmineh reflects on the beauty of a mother’s love: its tenderness, vulnerability and quiet courage. In a story shadowed by tragedy, it celebrates the fleeting beauty of an intimate moment, and the enduring strength of a bond that transcends fate.
