32 | Awaken | Sarah Lubcke | $6000 | Oil on aluminium panel

My painting “Awaken” explores the beautiful complexities of coming out of a place of hiding one-self, capturing the tension in the unveiling. The gemstones symbolise the redemptive beauty that is emerging after seasons of pain, pointing towards healing and a gradual transformation taking place as one lets their guard down and comes into the light.
