Kennedy Prize People’s Choice Competition (‘the Competition’)

 

  1. Introduction
    1. The Competition commences at 7pm (ACST) 30th August 2019 and concludes at 4pm (ACST) Thursday 12th September 2019.
    2. The Competition is promoted by Kennedy Arts Foundation, 140 Greenhill Road, Unley SA 5061.
    3. All entrants will be subject to and will need to adhere to the terms and conditions as set out by the Promoter and any future terms and conditions or alteration to these terms and conditions.
    4. To enter the Competition, entrants must post a photo of themselves next to their favourite artwork and use the hashtag #2018KennedyPrize and tag @kennedyartsfoundation in your photo.

 

  1. Prize:
    1. The Competition Prize has a total value of $500 and consists of one Prize:
      1. 1 x $500 cash Prize.

 

  1. Entry and Eligibility
    1. To enter the Competition, entrants must visit RSASA Gallery at Cnr Kintore Ave and North Terrace, Level 1 – Institute Building, Adelaide SA. Also must tag the Kennedy Arts Foundation Instagram page ‘@kennedyartsfoundation’ and use the hashtag ‘#2019KennedyPrize’ in their photograph.
    2. Entrants may enter the Competition once
    3. All participants under the age of 18 must have prior consent from their parent or guardian before entering the Competition and must be able to provide evidence of such consent on request.
    4. Only 2019 Kennedy Prize Finalists artworks can receive votes, except 2019 Kennedy Prize Winner which is not eligible. Foundations Choice artworks are also ineligble for votes.

 

  1. Selection of Winner
    1. 1 Winner will be selected as soon as practicable after 4pm (ACST) Thursday 12th September 2019. The Winner will be notified by phone or email or instagram from 10am (ACST) 13th September 2019.
    2. In the event that the Winner does not adhere to the competition general terms and conditions and/or Instagram’s Terms of Use, the next competition entrant will be awarded thereafter.
    3. The Winner must be able to provide evidence of attendance upon request
    4. The competition will be drawn by random draw.

 

  1. Sharing of Photographs
    1. By using the #2019KennedyPrize hastag, you grant permission to the Kennedy Arts Foundation to reproduce the relevant photograph by sharing it through:
      1. the Kennedy Arts Foundation Facebook page;
      2. the Kennedy Arts Foundation Instagram page;
      3. the Kennedy Prize Facebook page;
      4. the Kennedy Prize Facebook page; and
      5. the Kennedy Arts Foundation website.

    2. Merely sharing an entrant’s photograph on Kennedy Prize’s social media does not constitute the announcement of a Winner.
    3. To ensure the photograph can be seen by the Kennedy Arts Foundation, entrants’ must set their Instagram to public.

 

General Terms and Conditions

  1. No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost, incomplete or misdirected entries. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, or engaged in unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such a person are reserved.
  2. Any decision made by the Directors at Kennedy Arts Foundation in respect to the Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. The Winner must claim their Prize from Kennedy Arts Foundation, 140 Greenhill Road, Unley SA 5061, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm within one month of the draw date. An unclaimed prize draw will take place 4pm (ACST) 18th October 2019.
  4. Proof of identity will be required to claim the Prize.
  5. If the Winner is under 18 years of age, the Prize will be awarded to the Winner’s nominated parent/guardian upon presentation of photo identification on the Winner’s behalf. The parent/guardian shall be deemed the Winner for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
  6. The Promoter (including its related entities) and its respective officers, employees, contractors and agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential economic loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of the Promotion or in connection with the Prize.
  7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the Prize.
